One of our favourite parts of visiting Decorex every year is the surprise of finding a really great new product launch and, on this year’s visit, the Sue Whimster team was excited to discover that much-loved fabric supplier, Konig Design, has branched out and applied its colour expertise to a new paint collection: Konig Colours.

Konig founders, Jasper and Vanessa Galloway, developed the range of water-based paints after being continually frustrated at the range and depth of colours available in the UK. The pair worked with respected manufacturer Paintplus to create their modern eco-paint, which boasts non-toxic formulas and a fantastic range of shades.

We think they’ll be really popular amongst interior designers, not least for their fast-drying formulas, with products touch dry in just 20 minutes and ready for a re-coat in two hours.

What’s more, Konig Colours also offer a bespoke service, allowing designers to develop paint colours to match specific fabrics – a true boon to any designer’s little black book.
