She’s also turned her expertise to film and theatre, using her historical fabric knowledge and eye for detail to recreate authentic costume and set pieces.

An advocate for the lost art of passementerie, Cushing is the authority in creating traditional trimmings of braids, ropes and tassels to suit contemporary tastes. All her accessories are hand crafted using time-honoured techniques at the Kings Road flagship; itself a veritable trove of beautiful finishings.
