Sue Whimster Curtains is a well-established curtain making company based in London. All our curtains are handmade to the highest specifications and most exacting standards. Sue Whimster has been making curtains for over 35 years, and still embraces the challenge. Sue says, “I enjoy my curtain business and I am fully committed to my clients and customers. As one of London’s premier curtain makers, we’ve made every style of curtain from a multitude of different fabrics. “Over the years I’ve made 100’s of sets of curtains in numerous designs, whether traditional or contemporary. Each set goes though a process of design and planning to ensure that they look exactly the way you envisaged”. As we all know, curtains add so much to the style of a room. Not only are they a practical solution to a window, they can offer a sense of elegance, drama and fun.

Since 1989, we have worked throughout London, as well as Surrey, Kent, East & West Sussex, Berkshire, Hampshire, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall, Gloucestershire, Suffolk, Norfolk, Oxfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Worcestershire, Cheshire and Scotland. Measuring and Fitting Service:

Sue Whimster Curtains offers a full measuring and fitting service. Once you have been in contact with our company, we can send one of our fitters to measure your windows. Alternatively you may want to make an appointment with one of our curtain or blind consultants who can help you with your curtain design and fabric choice.

We can supply and fit all brands of tracks and poles, ranging from electric tracks made by Silent Gliss to Perspex poles supplied by Walcot House.

Sue’s teams of professional fitters have years of experience, which will ensure that your curtains are fitted correctly and look stunning. Our in-house fitters are also skilled craftsmen who can make pelmets, lambrequins, headboards, covered laths, painted laths and much more.

Alternatively you can measure your own windows using our measuring guide. This service enables you to receive a quick quote… We can also make your curtains using your own measurements but cannot be held responsible for any measuring errors.
